This site was developed by Jon Underwood, who was working on it shortly before his sudden death in June 2017.

Web development was Jon’s sideline: his life’s work and passion was as founder of the Death Cafe movement, encouraging people to talk about death and dying over tea and delicious cake, to help them make the most of their finite lives. We were privileged to work with Jon, whose deep understanding and commitment to the world of death and bereavement made him the ideal person to help us develop our site.
