CHUMS CIC Social Enterprise is an NHS approved provider of clinical services to children with mild to moderate mental health difficulties and those affected by bereavment and trauma across Bedfordshire and Luton. The service left the NHS in 2011 to become an independent Social Enterprise, affording the organisation more freedom to offer its services in a way that best suits the needs of the service users. CHUMS CIC is an employee owned company.

CHUMS is a CYP-IAPT compliant service hosting a diverse range of clinicians from differing theoretical backgrounds. We pride ourselves on our client-led, evidence-based service to support the children, young people and their families within our sites in Bedfordshire and  Luton.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the CHUMS team as we move into a new geographical area. We are looking for exceptional candidates to work with us in delivering this new contract, delighting our commissioners and developing further opportunities for CHUMS.

Our Head Office is based in Bedfordshire but over the last 18 months, the team have adapted well to working remotely and full support both on the ground and remotely, will be provided to the team in Kent.

The post holder will support children, young people, young adults (CYP/YA’s) up to 25 years and their families who have been bereaved. The post holder will be a source of advice and support for professionals across Kent and Medway.
